It's not about what's happened.

or even what we've done.

What matters is how we deal with it.

We can't think it's all or none.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do,

is see the things for what they are,

If we're stuck and wallow in our past,

We're only worsening the scar.

Why is it that our loved ones.

Are the ones we're hardest on.

if we truly love them from our hearts.

We must show them before they're gone.

We only have one chance in life.

We are bound to make mistakes.

When we do we must move on.

Forgiveness is what it takes.

The phrase that always comes to mind is...

We always hurt the ones we love.

Why this is I do not know.

But we must somehow rise above.

Will we take hurt and anger to the grave?

Or watch our loved ones die within it?

If it's not resolved that's what could be.

And death could take us any minute.
